About Us

Our Story

Narin Loom was created to celebrate the beauty, skill, and resilience of women artisans across Iran.

For generations, Iranian women have preserved traditional crafts within their homes and communities — weaving, stitching, felting, knotting, and shaping materials into objects that carry both function and meaning.

These crafts are more than products.
They are stories.
They are heritage.
They are identity woven into form.

We exist to bring these authentic, handmade creations to a wider audience — while honouring the women who make them.

What We Believe

We believe that handmade work carries something machines cannot reproduce.

Each piece we offer is:

  • Made by hand

  • Crafted in small batches

  • Rooted in regional tradition

  • Unique in pattern and detail

No two items are ever identical — and that is the beauty of it.

We do not mass-produce.
We do not replicate by factory.
We work directly with artisans and small groups of makers who preserve techniques passed down through generations.

Women at the Heart

Narin means delicate, refined, and graceful — a reflection of the care placed into every stitch and thread.

Our focus is on women-led craftsmanship. Many of the artisans we collaborate with work from their homes or small workshops, balancing tradition with modern life.

By sharing their work internationally, we aim to:

  • Support independent women makers

  • Preserve traditional craft techniques

  • Offer ethically sourced handmade goods

Beyond One Region

While some of our early pieces come from mountain villages like Masouleh, Narin Loom is not limited to one place.

Iran has a rich and diverse craft heritage:

  • Textile weaving

  • Felt-making

  • Embroidery

  • Natural dye work

  • Hand-knotting

  • Regional decorative arts

Our collections will grow to reflect the diversity of these traditions.

Authenticity & Small-Batch Production

Every item at Narin Loom is authentic and individually crafted.

Variations in pattern, colour, and stitching are not imperfections — they are signatures of the maker.

We value:

  • Slow production

  • Ethical sourcing

  • Cultural respect

  • Limited availability

When you purchase from Narin Loom, you are choosing craftsmanship over mass production.

Looking Forward

Narin Loom is still at the beginning of its journey.

We are building a bridge between heritage artisans and a global audience — thoughtfully, transparently, and sustainably.

Thank you for being part of that story.
